My husband and I stopped in on a whim. The staff seated us right away and were polite and friendly. They were attentive and our food came out fairly quickly after ordering. I ordered the 2x4. My husband ordered the sausage skillet. All of our food was correct and delicious. The pancakes were flavorful and fluffy and the bacon was cooked perfectly to my liking and sausage patties were not dry which was awesome. I can say they make fresh coffee because they grind their coffee beans on site. The prices were affordable and the food portions were decent. We were impressed all the way around and will come for breakfast again soon.

This is a cute place that looks like it’s been in the neighborhood for ages. Lots of regulars. We’ve been there a few times and have not been disappointed with the food. It’s a diner that could use a little updating but definitely has charm. There is a gentleman waiter that is so sweet to all the customers and is very willing to always help and accommodate. They’ve recently updated to iPad ordering and it seemed to help with billing accuracy. The menu has lots of choices and is fairly priced. You’re sure to find something for your taste. Lots of parking. Slight up charge for credit, but we are finding that to be getting quite typical these days.

Ive must have ridden past this place for over 10 years and never once stopped well today im glad i did.Nice old school diner. Seems even better if you like breakfast in the afternoon! Food tasted great no complaints

All these 2-3-4 star reviews make me laugh, some people don’t appreciate nothing good. Standards so high and judgmental, even IF a mishap or inconvenience occurred, they’re ready to switch up on the biz. Yeah, blah blah blah ….”you expected more french fries”….“ the curtains weren’t to your liking ”… “toliets were chilly during winter”…”I can’t fit into a booth ”… “parking lot wasn’t freshly striped “…. “it’s a great place but 4 stars”. Just stop, y’all should be ashamed and banned from giving reviews. At this point I can only hope the next generation gets to experience and support small biz as much as I do. I’m a Roosters regular. This place is really such a nice breakfast or lunch spot. Great American diner style dishes. The Rooster Omelette is a monster. That breakfast could cure any hangover. Don’t forget to ask for their homemade salsa to accompany the omelette. They also have homemade toast which is a no-brainer. Nothing compares in town. So so yummy. Homemade soups are lovely as well. Personal favorite is the chicken dumpling. What really keeps me coming back though is the amazing service and sense of community you feel dining here. The waitresses are eager to chat and make everyone feel welcome. The owner has learned my name and acknowledges me by name every time she sees me at the counter. Really great teamwork and a sense of unity that makes dining here feel like home.
