Roast Beef Sandwich! Bring it back to the Turnpike stores NOW more than ever! This wasn’t just a sandwich — it was a glorious, carved masterpiece that ignited the senses. With its caramelized, herbed crust, every bite was a burst of savory perfection, giving way to a tender, juicy, intensely beefy interior that made your soul sing. This was real, honest food — the kind that stays with you long after the meal is gone. It was a symbol of comfort, flavor, and satisfaction on the road. I miss it fiercely, especially when traveling — it was more than just a sandwich; it was an experience. Please, like this post, to stand up and show your support. Let’s pressure the company to bring back what we all loved — because this sandwich wasn’t just food, it was part of our journey, our memories. Bring i
The young man that took my order was helpful, but professionally distant. Not unfriendly. The food was very good, but I was flabbergasted when I saw the total and couldn't believe it when a screen came up with three suggested tip options. I said "I've got to tip you too?" My first and last trip to Roy Rogers.
So where do I even begin … meh sums up the experience we had. Chicken tenders are chicken tenders in the way a Pringle is a potato chip and I feel the same can be said for the burger. The condiments are gross I attempted to make my own honey mustard because they didn’t have it - bbq sauce was super thin… if this were the only food and I was starving the fries are almost decent how in the world was lunch for 2 people $35?
Cheeseburger bland...but topping bar helped. Toppings were fresh. Coleslaw was gross. Had a combo meal. Used to eat at Roy Rogers a lot and loved the roast beef- no longer available. Chicken was tasteless. French fries soggy and salty. No combo meals for chicken- ripoff. Staff was friendly. They offered kiosk or counter service. Hugh priced with sub par quality. Probably won't be back to a Roy Rogers in the future.
Fresh, hot, delicious - and very friendly service. Hit or miss, I guess, but if they’re busy you’re likely to get good stuff that hasn’t been sitting around. Atmosphere? Not here.
