Customer Reviews
The restaurant is right next door to the grocery store. You may not see it right away cause there isn't a visible sign for it. When you open the door, there will be a chime sound as there is a bell on the door. The individual will come and take your order. If you're a big fan of greetings you may not get it here. Friendliness is out the door if that's what you seek. I didn't see a tip option so that may be a blessing in disguise? I thanked them for that. More restaurants should go that route. The food was good. It did take a while which is understandable, but I don't think they are cooking the soup from scratch. Hopefully it's daily because I know my mother can sometimes use the same soup for days. The goat was easy to digest and the fufu (plantain, not yam) went down well.
Delightfully authentic African food! A "Must Try"! Will definitely come back again when we are anywhere in the area!
Food was delicious! Freshly prepared. Can't wait to go back.
My husband and I loved the food. I almost asked how they made their shito but I didn't think they will share that. The shito tastes very good. Ooooh and the meat pie. Boy oh boy. Oh the sobolo(hibiscus drink), the strawberry lemonade. Look everything is good. Just try it all.
I ordered through door dash and spent $40 on the most awful jollof rice I’ve ever had. The rice tasted like charcoal and had ABSOLUTELY no other flavor to it. There was one drumstick and it was not fresh. The breading was cold and soggy and the texture of the meat was rubbery and inedible, almost like it had been microwaved. The only thing decent was the salad which was just lettuce and tomatoes. Wish this establishment took more pride in what they serve.
