Food is ok. The tofu puffs is supposed to have shrimp inside and is priced that way but was all tofu or at least tasted that way. Chicken wings were bland but cooked well so we had to add our own seasoning. Chicken fingers were very good. Spare ribs were reheated so kind of dry. Fried rice was not that good and tasted a bit bland as well.

Great place if you wanted to try dinner Chinese food. My office is right next to this place and I tried it for the first time. I got the scallop with garlic sauce and some spring rolls. The food was amazing. The brown rice was plain and didn't have any taste. It was empty at around 2pm. Customer service was great and it's in a great location. They have outdoor dining but it's closed for the season I guess. One star less is because of the person who was serving my food was coughing and sneezing and also was not wearing masks. I don't care if you wear masks or not but at least wear a mask if you have a flu during this covid time. I had to rush eating my food and leave the place. Hope my next visit will be better. 🙏🙏🙏

It has a very traditional Cantonese cuisine braided pork with preserved vegetable 梅菜扣肉 that I haven’t seen for years! Very grateful that I could have that again

A nice place with good Malaysian/singaporean. Dishes we ordered - hainanese chicken rice, char quey teow, chicken satay, poh piah, roti canai Dishes we absolutely loved - poh piah, roti canai, chicken satay, char quey teow The chicken rice was good but the rice wasn’t as chicken flavored as I would have liked. It was 4/5 though!

Royal East Restaurant in Cambridge serves Malaysian cuisine with some Cantonese mainstays that were part of the original menu from years back. Back in spring 2022, a large group of 22 people dined at Royal East for $75 each which included taxes and tips. There is no surcharge for the room reserved. On the evening we had dinner, the restaurant was at 20% capacity. The women's bathroom has two stalls of which one had an out-of-order sign. The grand total given to Royal East was $1,650.
