Ruben's Mexican Café

I was in a pinch for time and nourishment. Ruben’s came through. Sat at the bar and Angela solved all my problems. Black bean soup, then veggie burrito- served with refritos, rice, & salad. Of course, there were the complementary chips & salsa.

Went out to eat for family night. The inside was awkward. Very dark. Uncomfortable sitting area. Wasn’t that busy. The server was nice. The food was very good but the person who made my drink I think put way too much alcohol or didn’t taste good at all. Had to stop drinking immediately and drink water after to feel better. I would go back but possibly go a different day, or sit outside.

Amazing atmosphere, matching the Amazing food. Generous portions and moderately priced. The staff were so pleasant and attentive. Can't wait to return, highly recommend.

I recommend Rubens and I’m fussy about service , ambience and food . No complaints about this place !

The food was tasty, fresh and everything came out quick. Chips and salsa tasted homemade. The beef and pork tacos and the chicken enchiladas were great, however I had a few pieces of bone from the chicken that I had to pick out We all got margaritas but noticed a bug in one of them and asked for our money back 🐜.
