Ruby Thai

After walking through Towson Mall, I stopped at Ruby Thai restaurant in the Food Court and tried the 2 meats 2 sides platter for $11.99. I got the Thai Chicken, Bang Bang Chicken, Brown Rice and mixed vegetables. You can't beat the price! Next time I come to Towson, I will return here.

I ordered the spicy chicken which is usually my favorite thing to get at Thai places. This one is more sour than spicy and I did not really like it. The potatoes were good though, and the service was good otherwise.

I went to this establishment today. I observed young lady at the register who also handled food move her hair out her face and adjust her glasses several times without gloves or washing her hands almost with every customer. Once I got to the register I kindly told her that she might wanna put her hair up because touching it then immediately someone's food is unsanitary; she didn't.

The name of the restaurant is very deceiving. It should be called Ruby Chinese because the only thing on the menu that was Thai was the pad Thai noodles that I saw a sign for. Other than that, everything else was similar to a Chinese takeout spot. I was very disappointed but I ordered from here because I was hungry. I got the bang bang chicken with fried rice and mixed veggies. The fried rice and veggies were okay but the chicken wasn't what I was expecting. I won't waste my money here again.

Ruby Thai kitchen has terrible food. Their service is poor. My order was incorrect and I received attitude when asking about it. The refrigerated drinks were warm and the green beans are considered an extra meat (even if you get it as a second side, which carries the price higher). I would advise to eat at any other restaurant in the food court. If I could give less than one star I would. Please don't eat there.
