Customer Reviews
I want to share a very positive experience at Ruby Tuesday. On my last visit some time ago, I was disappointed with the food quality, but this time I decided to give the restaurant another chance — and I’m honestly still in shock. My wife and I came in for dinner, and everything exceeded our expectations. The ribs and the ribeye steak were cooked divinely. The steak was incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The ribs were unbelievably tender — they literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was a real pleasure. Real Tendernism! The service was outstanding as well. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and friendly, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. On top of that, Lisa, the general manager, was incredibly kind and welcomin
I was pretty disappointed in the experience here, but will preface my review with this: It's a chain restaurant so I don't have unrealistic expectations. When we arrived, I appreciated the renovations, it looks great! The restaurant wasn't packed, and it cleared out further after we'd been seated for a few minutes. Our waitress took a while to take our drink order, but we'd ordered special lemonades so I expected it to take about five minutes to get them. As someone who has worked in the industry, I get it. However, 15 minutes for two raspberry lemonades was pretty wild to me. Our waitress was nice, and let us know she couldn't make them herself and had to wait for the bartender. We ordered an appetizer, where the food was totally dried out and the plate was extremely hot (which means it
*Please note that I am not hard to please!* This experience was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was very sweet, but that was absolutely it. My food was $20 and I initially ordered the potato skins and spinach and artichoke dip. She came back and told me they ran out, so I replaced it with queso. (They also were out of basically everything, with two hours until closing time.) When the queso came out, it was not hot and had that skin-like texture on top. The potato skins were thin, had half melted cheese on top, and were completely bland. I ended up paying $24 overall, and as a college student, that is not easy made money. Those were the two cheapest things on the menu, by the way. I am very disappointed in the food, thank God our server was nice. They were good about getting us in and out
Server had problems with one drink that resulted in ALL drinks being brought out to table very late. The salad bar had chunks of side items that required a steak knife to cut up to bite sized portions. The dressings were unlabeled. I’m assuming I had ranch (if it was, it was on the rancid side of freshness). Ribeye steak was good to medium but was chewy, quite tough. Added grilled garlic shrimp; they were good but may be too spicy for some. Once our food was delivered, our server ghosted us. Though friendly, we were not offered refills on drinks. We had to flag her to get anything else. We ordered dessert (even though the server never asked us). It was good. Don’t order a steak unless you bring a sharp knife. Service is lacking, cleanliness is pitiful. Hit and miss on most all of it.
This was the worst expensive meal I’ve ever had!! The ribeye steak tasted like it was only seasoned with salt and pepper and was tough. The potatoes were small and no bread. The tea was good but very expensive. The only thing good was the add-on salad and it was pricey. Don’t bother unless you go strictly for the salad bar.
