Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Rudy's country store and BBQ is always a great BBQ option! They maintain consistency across every one of their restaurants that I've visited. Whether it be in Texas, New Mexico or Colorado. Tonight's barbecue was no exception! Everything was smoked to perfection. The Brisket had perfect bark and moisture, The new jalapeno cheddar smoke links were excellent as was the smoked turkey and baby back ribs. This location was very clean, from the tables to the counters to the bathrooms, and service was very friendly.

I hadn’t heard of Rudy’s before. It was decent! Nice atmosphere and the staff taking orders at the front seemed friendly/efficient. Can’t say it rocked my world, but it was a good meal. 🐷

OMG, the BBQ is so flavorful and juicy. The sides are equally as tasty. The accompaniments of dill pickles, pickled cherry peppers, pickled jalapeños and raw sliced onions. Wash it all down with some tasty iced tea, fountain soda, or specialty bottled soda pop. The restaurant is large and suitable for all size groups, meetings, or events. I recently saw a super smart idea, a baby shower thrown at a BBQ restaurant. Think about it, I thought it was a brilliant idea. Ample parking, no clean up, you can set the menu to your liking or expense level. Take the family to Rudy's, sit outdoors by the fire. This is now probably my new favorite barbecue place. All of the staff was wonderful. This type of place created an environment where once you walk through the door, it’s just vibes. Everyone was super friendly inside. And the food was amazing. Everyone was raving about the brisket. The sausage was extremely good, especially the house sauce is amazing. The banana pudding is probably my favorite banana pudding in a while. You should definitely make sure to stop by.

I’m from the south and I was not expecting to have some of the best barbecue ever in the middle of Colorado. I walked in and asked them what they recommended. They told me people from Texas come for the brisket, but if you’re local they like the pulled pork. The server allowed me to try a bite of each smoked meat that they offered and I am gonna say that that is some of the best pulled pork ever!
