Ruffled Grouse B&B

I've stayed a couple of times at the Ruffled Grouse Bed & Breakfast! Located right on the shore of Lake Huron, this a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The host, Jean, is warm and friendly, and she went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She's also a great cook. :) Beds are comfortable, everything was clean and decorated in great rustic style. This is the place for great activities like swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. Looking forward to going back again this year!

I was searching for a B&B in the area and decided to give Ruffled Grouse a try. I am so glad we booked here. Jean is a fantastic host with good connections. As a child, my family had a cottage on St. Joseph Island. Jean arranged for a tour of the area on a pontoon boat. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We toured by Stribling Point, my old fishing hole, the island where we used to go blueberry picking. I got to re-live so many good memories from my childhood. We didn't have room to bring our fishing gear, so she got my son a fishing rod to use during our stay so he could do some fishing. I was also in search of some pudding stone to take back to Alberta. Jean was an amazing generous host. The cabin was perfectly stocked and clean. Lovely location right on the water. Already recommended staying there to a friend coming up.

Found this little beauty on the net quite by accident and we were so pleased when we got here. A beautiful cabin all to ourselves. This takes B & B to a whole new level. Jean is a perfect host. Highly recommend this experience.

We went in February this year and had a wonderful time! Jean is a very warm welcoming host! We will be coming back but in the summer so we arn't frozen and stuck in our cabin 😀
