Rumor Brewing Company

Kind of a weird and wild experience here for our first and only time visiting (we’re on a road trip). Pretty unwelcoming greeting party of the bartender folding towels and a local person sitting at the bar when we walked in. They acted like they were surprised that there were customers walking in? Placed our order of pizzas, a beer, and when I asked about non-beer drink options, she mentioned soda and water. We found out a half hour later that I could’ve ordered a cocktail. Same bartender that took our order served our appetizer to another table, so it took another 30 minutes for them to remake it, and we got it after our pizzas were gone. TLDR: Food & beer is actually really good. Service & consistency are usually pretty...ish, today was bad. We've tried to love Rumor for more than 4 years, since the Ale Republic days; to support local & see this place succeed. We have ordered dozens of times & the joke is you get what you get and its usually good. Today was the straw. We ordered pizzas, salads, and a burger online for pickup- see below. Came home, checked the food and didn't see a mountain burger, just the pizzas and salads. Drove 20 min back over to see it can be fixed, told that I ordered it no bun, and its in the salad. After being basically accused of eating the patty and lying about it, I found the patty buried under the lettuce. They did not care that it didnt match what I ordered, only that they "can't fix their

We really enjoyed our pizzas! The pesto chicken one was really delicious. The restaurant was fun and kid friendly. There was a billiards table which was cool. I liked the mural on the wall. I want to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy all the great outdoors seating. We shared a tasty beer too.

Came here with a buddy after a drive around the mountain. We were one of the first customers that day. Didn’t wait long for our pizzas. I ordered the pepperoni and green chili pizza. I thought it was pretty good and you can eat the whole pie without feeling over filled. We had a good experience eating here and being able to hangout and talk.

Very nice local brewery located in Cedar Crest NM just outside Albuquerque. Staff and locals were all very friendly. Rumor is also very dog friendly and I met a few new friends :-) The beer is very good! I paired an IPA, Red Ale, Stout, and Blonde Ale flight with a very fresh and tasty caprese salad. I would definitely revisit Rumor Brewing next time I'm in town 🍻
