I stopped into Runza not knowing exactly what to expect, but I walked out a believer. The Original Runza was the undeniable star of the show, a golden, perfectly baked pocket of dough filled with seasoned ground beef, sautéed onions, and tender cabbage. Sounds simple, but don’t let that fool you, it’s comfort food alchemy at its finest. Each bite was warm, flavorful, and nostalgic, like something your Midwestern grandma would make if she had a culinary degree. The dough was soft with just the right chew, and the filling was both savory and satisfying without being greasy. It’s hearty enough to fill you up but not so heavy that you regret it afterward. Service was friendly, the place was clean, and the menu had variety for when I want to mix it up next time. My only tiny critique? I wish

Amazing! Every time I’m in Nebraska, I gotta get at least one runza before I leave! They have some of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had at any fast food restaurant! Highly recommend it!
