Stopped at this interesting little spot on Valentine's Day, 2026... upon opening the door, we were greeted by a light haze of smoke and the delicious scent of slow-cooking meats! The interior has seating for about 20, and according to the owner, is an old farm building they moved to their present location, before reconstructing piece by piece... The smells did not mislead: the BBQ was absolutely perfect. Staff was inviting and efficient, so do not miss this spot!
Hands down the best BBQ I’ve had in Indiana. I kept hearing about this place from both a coworker and a friend, so a buddy and I made the 45-minute drive to finally try it—and it was 100% worth it. I ordered the baby back ribs and pulled pork, and both were outstanding. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the pulled pork was equally as good. Everything we tried was great, and the whole experience lived up to the hype. Already looking forward to making the trip back again. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere within driving distance!
Great little hole in the wall BBQ joint! Whole family throughly enjoyed the meat (we all got either brisket or sausage). Sides really weren’t our thing, but that doesn’t mean they are bad. I’m there for the meat anyways. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend stopping by! The restaurant was quite small, so I could see seating being an issue during peak hours. The smoke bothered my eyes, due to the small size of the room, but that’s just the nature of the building. **This is not in anyway a criticism of the establishment, just something to be aware of**
BBQ was great. We had 1lb of brisket, 1lb of pull pork, 4 whole wings, and a half slab of baby back ribs. We had greens and Mac and cheese. The greens were the best I've had and I'm from Alabama. The smoked wings were on point. Portions were good. The dining room is small. Get extra sauce. The pickles were a nice touch. Friendly staff.
If you sneeze you might miss the building but it is worth the stop! I was literally on the phone telling a friend that I was driving through lizton. He said if you see rusted silo you should stop. And he was right. Everything was amazing! The brisket, the mac and cheese and the Kraft sodas! Highly recommend
