Sabor A Café Niles - Steakhouse & Live Music Venue

Definitely a must-visit! This location is an upscale version of the Sabor a Cafe on Peterson. The ambiance and decor was beautifully done. Apart from an elevated menu, they offer a variety of music several days a week. The food was outstanding! The entrana and churrasco were cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The empanadas were delicious and perfectly crispy and flavorful. The ceviche was incredibly fresh, bursting with citrus and balanced flavors. Every dish felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also worth noting that they have a parking lot in the back, which makes visiting even more convenient. Will be returning!

Great food in a gorgeous place. Quiet enough to have a conversation when there’s no live music and when a band starts, who wants to talk? Great bar (even some cozy couches next to the stage). Portions are large and food is good at both lower and higher price points. I went for the steak but even the house salad was unique and delicious. They were great about my food allergy. Free parking lot in the back. Great for our special occasion and we were so busy chatting and eating that I only have pics of the gorgeous decor. Nice accessible ramp you can drive up to in the parking lot.

The food was amazing Columbia style. Very flavorful and juicy. Also met the owner very kind and down to earth guy. Waiters were very attentive and took care of us very well. Will be returning. They also play live music on certain nights.

Valentine’s Day Disaster - We made a reservation in advance for Valentine’s Day for a party of four and were really looking forward to the evening, especially since we previously had a great experience at Sabor a Café’s Chicago location a few years ago. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. The frustration started in the parking lot. It was completely full, and there were no directions or guidance on where to park if their lot is full. After being greeted, we were taken to our table, and that’s where things went downhill. We sat for about 40 minutes with no one taking our order. We finally had to flag down a staff member to ask for service. The food was AMAZING!!! My husband and I got the parrillada and my daughter got the pechuga al carbon! It was soo yummy the meat was the perfect temp not overcooked like other places where we need to return it. (Husband is picky lol) I also got the coconut mojito I was only supposed to have one 🙈 but it was so bomb I ended up getting 3 😆 The ambiance is soo great go visit them you won't regret it! Charlie was very attentive and funny 😊 It's safe to say it's now one of my favorite restaurants!
