Sabrosura Mexicana

My go to birria spot!! Found it here at 36th ave near my school. A family run restaurant with a variety of authentic Mexican foods that are fairly cheap compared to other spots. The atmosphere is subtle and comforting; cleanliness is not bad— but also not perfect. The service is very nice and the food is always made fresh. A nice hidden-in-the-wall type of spot.

Edit: went back and was sooooo dissapointed. Ordered some tacos, & a quesadilla. The meat on everything was so overcooked. It felt like I ordered from a different restaurant. My boyfriend and I went here on a whim & were so pleasantly surprised. Everything was soooo good, but my highlight was definitely the Pepino y Piña agua fresca. My boyfriend got the Al pastor Quesadilla, and it was the quesadilla of our dreams. The amount of cheese on it was perfect, making the cheese pull great. 100/10.

This place is AMAZING!!! The most authentic and delicious Mexican food around. Huge tasty portions with a great price tag. It’s a family run business and I go weekly at this point.

Hole in the wall spot that makes authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. Staff is super friendly, place is clean, food is 11/10! So flavorful! They made a customer out of me - will definitely be back!

Update- went again and was again disappointed. If you order to go they skimp out as much as they can. I ordered birria tacos and had essentially cheese tacos with cilantro and onions because there was barely any meat. -Wish they were consistent with their tacos. New cook makes birria tacos with cheese. They don’t make Al pastor tacos with pineapple. The amount of meat is constantly changing. The flavor just isn’t the same.
