Saffron Indian Cuisine

We had a wonderful experience at Saffron. We ordered the naan, goat madras, biryani, kadhai, and chicken korma, and everything was absolutely delicious. The korma and the madras were especially amazing, both very rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The staff truly made the visit special. They were incredibly kind and accommodating to our young son and to my sister who uses a wheelchair. Their patience and warmth made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Great food, great service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!

The food here was okay. Nothing special but nothing terrible. I wouldn't come here again. It was not that it was bad but it just wasn't good. The atmosphere as well was a little bit weird. There was a lot of incense burning and there was also music being played in the background that was quiet but still repetitive. The restaurant itself was nice with decor. However, it had a drop ceiling like an old office building from the '80s that was very stained which kind of ruined the atmosphere. The stuff are friendly, helpful and attentive.

Saffron in Norwalk is a gem! The food was outstanding We had a fantastic time at Saffron in Norwalk. The food was top-notch—especially the chicken wings and chicken tikka masala, which were bursting with flavor. Honestly, everything we tried was great. What really stood out was the service. Maggie was exceptional—warm, attentive, and made sure we had a perfect dining experience. Food + service like this is what keeps customers coming back. Highly recommended!

UPDATE: Under new management!!!… Was told new dishes will be coming soon (not sure I will try as the taste of the food has changed drastically from my experience). New A family owned indian restaurant I’ve grown to love. Recommended by a co-worker, Saffron Indian Cuisine Restaurant has become one of my “guilty pleasures” on my way home from work. Located on a main strip in Norwalk, it is one of thee best Indian Restaurants I’ve eaten at in Connecticut and would recommend it anyone open to having a delicious and tasty meal. They’ve distinguished themselves apart from the rest through their commitment to quality, freshness for each handcrafted dish. Their menu includes Chicken Tikka Masala and its correspondent Butter Chicken where I HUGELY recommend getting the Bhatura (fried pita bread)
