SAKAE Sushi

One of the best sushi/sashimi place in Bay Area. Their Ankomo is of best quality and best value. Also don’t miss out their gorgeous sashimi. Their sesame creme brûlée is also a must-order for me each time when I visit. Just off the Burlingame Ave, very convenient.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant, and I visit it every time I’m in the area. The prices are reasonable, so I always recommend it to others. This time, I ordered the Kyoto Combo, I think — a set meal that comes with both sashimi and tempura. The tempura was crispy and delicious, and the sashimi was so fresh with no fishy smell at all — it was truly excellent! The person I went with loved it too. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m nearby.

We had two chirashi set and was pretty disappointed. Sashimi was very fresh but the portion size is really small for 40 and 49 bucks. We were barely full afterwards we bought a sandwich somewhere else lol

Truly authentic sushi place, a family owned and operated Japanese restaurant. Try the sashimi salad and the chef’s recommendation. We enjoyed the entire evening and the waiters were very attentive and friendly as well. Will come again!

Classy Japanese sushi restaurant in a chic venue. They have lots of rare fishes that you can't get anywhere else, and they are so fresh... Yum... We had the sushi course, prepared personally by chef Hiro Endo himself. It's just out of this world delicious. And the staff is attentive with excellent service. It is pricey, but if you are a sushi/sashimi lover, you really got no choice. They have tasty fishes that are just not available elsewhere. You have to try it!
