Saki Sushi and Grill

It had been awhile since I had dined at Saki, and I was craving some sushi today while at work, so off I went for dinner. The rainbow roll was good. I enjoyed it, 100%. Unfortunately, it was the only part of my meal I enjoyed. In addition to the sushi roll, I also ordered a combo hibachi plate, filet mignon and shrimp. The combo comes with soup and salad. The soup was subpar, with only one tiny sliver of mushroom in it. It was hot, that's about all I can positively say about it. The "salad" was a ton of lettuce with one tiny cherry tomato and two tiny slivers of cucumber. As for the filet mignon and shrimp. What the waitress brought out was NOT filet mignon. You will definitely get your money’s worth here. The box was filled to the brim with piping hot shrimp, steak and rice along with the usual vegetables. If you’re craving japanese food and wanting quick service then this place will not disappoint you.

Normally this place is really good, and my wife’s Mt. Airy roll was very good she said. I ordered the chicken lo mein noodles and not exactly sure what I got but it was not to my taste. Noodles looked like large chicken noodle soup noodles and were very slimy. The server asked if it was good I said no and did not eat it, did not offer to make it right with me. Will be my last visit to Saki…. First picture is what I got, second picture is what I ordered with chicken instead of the beef. Clearly not the same dish….

The foods good but the wait staff sucks not one time did our drinks get refilled didn’t get asked if we wanted a box or anything else felt completely ignored

I wanted shrimp and chicken noodles. I was recommended by them to get the house special noodles because it had both. It costs more, but I was ok with it because I wanted shrimp. In the whole container they put ONLY 1 shrimp! The beef, was not beef! It was gristle and fat only! Couldn't even chew it up and it made me gag! For $15, they should have done way better. I had to THROW IT AWAY! I love their sushi, but I will never order anything but sushi ever again. We use to come a lot, but I'm sick of getting rubber food!
