Sakura Japanese Restaurant

Stopped in to grab a bite to eat while I was on that side of town. Ordered the Chicken Hibachi. The serving size is huge. Definitely enough for 2 meals. The chicken had a funny taste to it. There were very large chunks of chicken and the meat was dry. The broccoli was really good and so were the mushrooms. The carrots, and there was a lot of them, were all overcooked and mushy. I had heard great things about the food and wanted to give them a try. I was not impressed with the chicken hibachi but open to try something else on the menu next time.

Stopped by around 640 last night. Ordered our food and sat and waited in the lobby. One employee mumbled under her breath when we walked in like she didn’t want us in there. Once we got our food, it was barely warm. Chicken so dry you can barely chew it. Loud music playing, employee cussing, just all around not a good experience. Not the first time I’ve eaten here but this time it just was not good. May or may not be back

This place used to be pretty consistent. About a month ago. One of the girls upfront told me that the original cook was murdered. That came completely from left field. Ever since then the food has not been the same. Over cooked and greasy In comparison. I don’t go as much as I used to if at all. Nothing could beat the way the other guy cooked. He was always always always consistent with his plates. I’m sorry he had to leave us.

Rude cashiers acting like they are being inconvenienced by me patronizing their establishment. I will not ever go there again! This place use to be consistently good all around. Music blasting like it's a club, I wonder what happened? No greetings or thank you for visiting us.

I stood here in front of the people for 10 minutes before someone even looked at me to order. That's ridiculous. Not even on a customer service level but on a human decency level. I'd end my life if I treated others the way these people treat their paying customers. Food is ok.
