First time going and this place was amazing! Early dinner/late lunch so there was one other group there besides us. We got seated, more people came in and sat with my fiancé and myself, no big deal. The head chef Michael was amazing. I have a food allergy and he was amazing with making sure that my food didn't touch the food I'm allergic to. He was very sweet, interacted with our table well and cooked our food wonderfully. Definitely plan to go again. And when we do, were will be requesting Michael.

My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday at Sakura- Hibachi style -because there were 10 guests and we thought it would be fun. Our reservation was for 5:30p Our guests arrived by 5:45p. We had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated. The host was slovenly, and was wearing a mask. I couldn’t hear him and he rudely shouted whatever he was saying but it didn’t include an apology for our table not being ready for us. The server took our drink and food orders and the hibachi chef began to light the flame and commence preparing our food. We all have experienced Hibachi many times and expected to be laughing and engaging with the chef. Not here-not with this boring, lackadaisical kid. It was the most painfully boring and solemn 20 minutes. No interaction except to ask how the red meat should

The sushi was big and so fresh. I'd have to drive at least 30 minutes to get this quality fish!

Offers both hibachi and sushi. We opted for the sushi and it did not disappoint. They were even nice enough to offer us a free appetizer to taste while we waited for our sushi. Out server was very gracious. Would return when we go back to the shore.
