Main reason for the review is the price of a sandwich is now north of $20 and climbing. Haven’t been here in probably 5 years since my GF moved from the area and was looking forward to it. Noticed the new digital menu sign behind the counter and few new crew but not the prices. Didn’t even realize it was going to be a $21 sandwich until I ordered. Considering I think I was under $11 the last time I was there I was pretty shocked. At this rate a Bomb is gonna cost $30 by 2027. Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich was still good but it’s no longer a no brainer to go there to get one. As others said felt like the bread had changed as well and sandwich wasn’t as loaded. Service was pretty good when I was there though despite the steady stream of customers and line. Would I say no to one of these
My first time here and i have to say this is Hands down the best hero sandwich I have ever had, this thing is massive!! You need 2 hands to take it out the bag. Not sure how much it weighs but its a heavy sandwich. We got the bomb and it was the BOMB!!!! Everything they put in the sandwich paired together perfectly and nothing was over powering. I will be back again!
I finally tried Kris & Charlie’s Deli and went straight for their legendary “Bomb” sandwich — and now I get the hype. First off, this thing is MASSIVE. At around $21, it honestly feeds a family. It’s stacked with layers of meats, toppings, and flavor in every bite. I’m usually not even a big cold cut sandwich guy, but this completely changed my mind. It’s a very busy spot (for good reason), but the quality speaks for itself. If you go, the top two sandwiches to order are The Bomb and The Italian Combo — both absolute heavy hitters. Bring your appetite. You’ll need it.
I have seen the sandwiches here and they look awesome. The bomb sandwich is the thing to order so I went for it. It is loaded with everything. Very messy but wow does the sandwich come together. It has everything… too many ingredients to name. Loved it. The bread also stood out as excellent. I would come back to order it again but make sure you bring your appetite.
I’m usually not a cold-cut sandwich person, but I decided to try “The Bomb” — and I’m glad I did. It’s stacked with lettuce, onions, two cheeses, and what feels like 13 different meats, finished with mustard and mayo. The meats tasted premium and well-balanced, not overly salty or processed like you sometimes get with overloaded sandwiches. The bread wasn’t toasted, but you can see a mountain of fresh bread as soon as you walk in, which says a lot about turnover and freshness. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the portion size was serious — this sandwich easily feeds two people. It cost $21 cash, and honestly for the size and quality, it felt worth it.Definitely recommend.
