Salento Steakhouse at Silverleaf

Our server, Camilo, was awesome! We were a party of 7…can be overwhelming but he took really good care of us every step of the way! On top of that…the food..amazing and unique. Price was unbelievable too, great value/great food! Will come back pretty soon!!

This was our first dining experience at Salento. As soon as my husband and I walked in the door the smell of food being served, the chatter of customers and the decor felt like it was going to be a good experience. We had Anthony as our server. He was friendly and very attentive. We do not like to order appetizers and the entree at the same time. Anthony was very respectful and waited until we were enjoying our appetizer before he checked in for our order. He went over the menu and explained the sauces...the jalapeno sauce is caliente!!! Our dinners were large sized portions but perfect. We will return and hope to have Anthony again as our server!

I’ve heard a lot about Salento and their Mandarin location. I was excited to see a location in SilverLeaf had opened as it’s much closer to my home. I was a little concerned that the suburban version would miss the mark, but being I have nothing to compare it to, here is my two cents. Interior is well decorated. We chose to sit outside. Ambiance was nice. Service was prompt and very good. Leo was our server and very likable and helpful. My mother had the filet cooked medium rare and it is served with their whipped yellow potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. We enjoyed having complimentary sides of chimichurri and their spicy habanero sauce. I am a regular here and have never left a review for the team. All servers are good, but Nordan and Carmelo are my regulars. I have done only family and large reservations, 8 to 16 people. Service is the same, and the food is consistent in taste and quality, made to order. My go-to is the Bandeja Paisa, my wife loves the red Snapper, and my daughter always has the Churrasco. Went yesterday with my Friend and his family, and they were impressed again. Locals, but never had stopped to try.
