Salerno's Pizza of Bolingbrook

Stopped by on a whim on my way running errands. Ordered a baby size pizza (sausage and mushroom), and got a soda. Took hardly any time, and the pizza came out super hot and fresh. Was able to drive home ~15 mins, and the pizza was still hot like it just came out the oven. The pizza was delicious, the crust was nice and buttery, and the cheese pull was on point. Highly recommend this spot!

I'll rate the place 5 stars but when I went in I was looking for a traditional crust NY/NJ style pizza. This ain't it. I agree with A.G.s review. Heavy , doughy , undercooked and at $8 slice it adds up quick....although since it sets like a rock made out of dough you'll only need one slice A.G.s pizza at least had some cheese on it Everything else was fine , staff was nice but don't come here for the pizza.

It was the worst pizza I've ever tasted! 😞 Why cut a round pizza into small squares? I didn't like the cut, didn't like the crust and also cheese was unsavory. It tasted like a frozen pizza you buy at a grocery store. Not worth the $30 to buy a plain cheese pizza.

I came in to to have lunch I had $100 bill. I ordered two slices with two pops and a cannoli and got back 55 bucks. I called to tell the girl about it and she says she gave me three $20, 10 and 5 I've got two twenties a 10 in a five. She said she'll check the cameras and that I can come back unfortunately I'm a tow truck driver and I've got things to do I'm going to have to check and see you later.(They gave me my 20 back)

I'm working on the area and decided to pick up some pizza as they sell pizza by the slice. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and fried calamari. The pizza was cooked to perfection and had the right amount of dough to sauce to cheese ratio. I wish there were more pepperonis on the pizza, but I did not ask for extra, so that’s my fault. The fried calamari was delicious and breaded just right. The amount of calamari they give is so much that I could not finish it. The staff were all personable and treated everyone well! I will for sure order here again when I'm in the area
