Salerno's Pizza of Chicago

I go to Selerno's every year for my birthday.....because their Pizza is some of the best Pizza in Chicago.....the martinis are good, the calamari is good, and the thin crust Sausage pizza is amazing. I especially love going there in the summertime where you can sit on the sidewalks and really enjoy the weather.

Went on a Sunday evening. Great food, great ambiance, seated quickly. Very good portions of pasta and calamari. Pizza was fresh and delicious. Drinks were very solid and prices weren’t bad at all. Got pizza, an app, pasta, and drinks for 2 people and only spent $100. Will definitely be back to try the ribeye sandwich

Atmosphere is good. Food is at good portions but the taste is very average. To be honest I can get better pizza at Blaze at half of its price. If you only going to eat, not a good option. And don’t order the sea shell pasta as well it’s just full of cheese and they added another layer of cheese on top.

We had such a pleasant carry out experience tonight. One of the employees gave us the best service. He overheard that it was our first time there and gave us a round of drinks and a bowl of soup while we waiting. Come to find he was the owner! Love to see an owner who’s willing to help out his staff and be kind to customers. This is a local gem!

I’ve eaten from three of their locations over the past 40+ years. I now order delivery from the Grand Avenue location in Chicago. It’s always delivered fast, fresh and hot!! The flavors have not changed over the years and I’m grateful for that. Their sauce is amazing!! Always a winning choice!!
