Salgado's Pupuseria y Taqueria

Absolutely delicious!! I walked in and asked the gentleman at the counter what was good. He ran through a few basic things and then got really excited about a dish. I only caught chicken, cabbage, and plantains but he was so passionate about it that I ordered it. Turns out it was the tajadas con pollo and it was delicious. Very fresh and flavorful. The portion size for the price was excellent. I will definitely be back to try more food next time I'm in town

This place is a fantastic hidden restaurant serving Salvadoran, Mexican and Honduran food! I had never had Pupusas before, and this was the perfect place to try them for the first time! The atmosphere is not a traditional US American experience, it’s more of a traditional Latin American vibe. The food: - The pork, cheese and beans Pupusa were great with any of the hot sauces! ⭐️ - The Platillo Tipico was amazing as well, we ordered it with chicken instead of eggs and got both chicken and eggs. ⭐️ Over all, a great experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

The ladies who worked here were incredibly nice, just didn’t care for the food. Chips were not crunchy, they were soft. I appreciate home made tortilla chips but just texturally these were not doing it for me. The rest of the food was underwhelming. Not a lot of vegetarian options. It is quite possible the meat items are better than the few veggie items. Good selection of Agua fresca.

Absolutely top ten most authentic I've ever had, prices are insanely cheap, everything is house made as well!
