Sal's Italian Bistro

We had a wonderful meal at Sal's Italian Bistro on our first visit, and what a find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. You can truly taste the flavor from the high quality ingredients used in every dish. Everything felt fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of authentic Italian flavor. This is the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the kind of spot you want to linger and enjoy your meal. Our server was incredibly pleasant and attentive from the moment she greeted us until the time we left. She struck the perfect balance of being warm, helpful, and present without ever hovering. hands down best steak i have ever had! the grilled veggies were perfectly seasoned. i don’t come to this area much, but when i do, you can find me at Sal’s!

Best meal by far we've had traveling up from Florida. Nicest staff by far our server Khia was so nice. Everyone treated us like regulars. The food, fried shrimp and Cannelloni were fantastic, salads delicious and olive oil for dipping fresh bread. pink lemonade 👍 Great prices / big delicious portions. Ordered the calamari, side of fettuccine Alfredo, and the seafood combo with salmon. The calamari was absolutely amazing and worth the price! I ended up taking the seafood combo in a box because everything else was so delicious. This place is the real deal!

We live about 45 minutes from Edinburg and have had trouble finding good places to eat. We are so happy we discovered Sal’s. We went for lunch without a reservation and had no trouble getting a table. The food is FANTASTIC and we got great service. I had spaghettini with arrabiata sauce and my husband had the sausage and peppers sub. Both were amazing and the portions were very generous. I fully expected to have some left over to take home, but it was so good, I just kept eating until it was gone. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other build-your-own pasta combinations. We spent $37, which, unfortunately, these days, is not a huge sum for a meal for two.
