Sal's Pizza Restaurant

I ordered from Sal’s Pizza in Danbury and it was the worst food experience I’ve had. The pizza was undercooked, with pale, raw dough. The “buffalo chicken” was tiny, hard, dry strips with no buffalo flavor at all. The calamari was the most disgusting I’ve ever had — rubbery and hard — and the mozzarella sticks weren’t even fried, just rock hard and inedible. When I called, the response was rude: “What do you want me to do about it?” I was later told the driver refunded me and brought a replacement pizza — neither ever happened. I had to go to the pizzeria myself to get a refund, and they only refunded the pizza, refusing to refund the calamari while falsely claiming the driver already gave it away. Avoid this place. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Unfortunately, this place was a disappointment. The owner is extremely rude and comes across as if he doesn’t care about customers at all. The pizza is consistently undercooked, even when ordered well done and the dough tastes like frozen, store bought pizza. The garlic knots are decent, but they’re often stale. The wings are probably the best item on the menu they’re large, and the flavors are good. However, between the poor service and mediocre pizza, the only reason I would consider ordering again is because they offer free delivery.

AMAZING FOOD! BEST PIZZA IN DANBURY. They have a wide variety of menu options with consistent and delicious tasting food overall! Wish I could experience trying Sal's for the first time again.

i called to double check a order I had placed for 12 pm for a Christmas party 12/20/25 the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude and quite inappropriate for to be the owner and for $52.00 order. After today I will never order from Sal's Pizza 🍕 🍕 ever again.

Like the pizza but they skimp on the meat. A buffalo chicken is $27 at least put one chicken breast that costs about $2 on it! I told him not to skimp on the meat but still does it every time. Keep in mind that original Sal sold the business, that why! For a $1 more I’ll buy from portabelos in Brookfield
