Saltwater Cowboys

Saltwater Cowboys was awesome, and such a great place to grab lunch on a Sunday afternoon! I absolutely loved everything about the ambiance; when you first walk up to the restaurant, it feels like you’re about to walk right into a large, beautiful, beach-front estate. Then, when you walk around the corner, you’re greeted with a beautiful view of the marsh, which then leads into Shem Creek! My friends and I sat right beside the railing, where we could see directly into the ships docked in front of us, as well as feeling the sun glistening off of the water. As for the service and food, they were both solidly above average, and they seemed to have a nice selection of drinks. I wasn’t ready to drink that early in the day, but one of my friends ordered an IPA that they had (in a can), and said

First time experiencing this restaurant. It is dog friendly outside area, so feel free to bring your best friend. They even have a dog menu online! The food and atmosphere is definitely worth the wait to get in. Scenery is beautiful, staff was very friendly and service is great. Food was outstanding! They even gave my Dane puppy a scarf to wear! Highly recommend!!

Amazing brunch. Breakfast tacos were really good. Bloody Mary's were really good. Drink selection was really good. Great place for day drinking if you are in to that scene. Views of Shem Creek were beautiful. We loved this place and will be coming back on future visits. All the food and appetizers looked amazing there were so many things I wanted to try.

The view and service was amazing! The drinks were great. The food was good. The trashcan nachos were a great presentation. The chips do tend to get soggy pretty quick. A suggestion would be to maybe have a little bit of the chips on the outside the can to have some solid chips. The brussel sprouts were my hands down favorite. The fried green tomatoes were well done & the sauce was a wonderful balance. The shrimp were perfectly cooked & the sauce had a great balance of spicy and sweet.

Had a great tasting grilled grouper sandwich and asparagus. The key lime pie was very good! Outside dining was closed due to the 40 degree temperature so we had an inside table at the window. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Delicious meal!
