Salud Taqueria

We came to Salud Taqueria for some authentic Mexican food and we were definitely not disappointed! Here's what we ordered for lunch: - "Taco Combo" for $16 includes 2 tacos, rice, beans and bottled soda. For the taco proteins, I chose Pastor al Trompo (thin sliced pork shoulder tossed in adobo de la casa) and Suadero (slow braised and pulled beef brisket) - Puebla Bowl - rice, beans, oaxaca cheese, red onion, cilantro, guacamole and your choice of protein - margarita, horchata Everything was amazing! The proteins were juicy and bursting with the flavors of Mexico. The Pastor Al Trompo was salty, but I didn’t care so much about that. The arroz rojo was savory and tasty. I could eat this meal all day! I'm sad that I'm only visiting Birmingham or else I’d be a regular at this place. Ther

Pineapple Shot was yummy very smooth. The frozen machine was down so we ended up with regular margaritas that were good as well.The Tacos stole the show. I recommend ordering the 3 Taco combo. Seasoned well. I ordered the loaded fries but did not read the description my bad. I did like the beans and pineapple. I will be back for the Barria they only serve on the weekends.

Came in out of town with a group of girl friends and had the most wonderful experience felt right at home! The customer service was out of this world not to mention how amazing the food was! This place is a 10/10 will be stopping when I return to Birmingham! ❤️🔥

I've only ever had positive experiences at this restaurant; from the food to the service! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food is unbeatable. I have attached a picture of loaded fries I ordered to-go. But, I've also had their Birria tacos this weekend (limited) and 10/10! Can't wait to try something else new on the menu!
