Salvadoreños restaurant

As a Salvadorena, growing up in the U.S, we always preferred to make pupusas at home because the ones in the restaurant rarely did them justice. Salvadorenos restaurant was so delicious, and tasted like we were eating pupusas in El Salvador. The owner of the restaurant was very kind, and hospitable.

My friend and I came to eat brunch here. We got the cheese and bean, and cheese and pork pupusas. They were piping hot and delicious! The tomato sauce was good and not spicy. The green sauce on the side added some spice. I got the agua de tamarindo which was refreshing, had real pulp and not too sweet. Would highly suggest!

This is the most authentic Salvadoran restaurant I’ve been to in the United States. I married into a Salvadoran family and have been to the country. This is the real deal! The steak is JUICY and the pupusas are cheesy. Definitely come here if you want to know exactly how good Salvadoran food can be. Also, unique to this place is a special hot sauce the owner creates himself. (Ask him for the spicy sauce or salsa). It’s better than any hot sauce I’ve had from a bottle or a restaurant. The owner of this restaurant is an excellent chef and displays what the heart of El Salvador truly is. Kindness, care, and hospitality. If you haven’t eaten here yet you’re missing out.

I literally ordered everything on the venue and everything on the menu is superb delicious fresh great serving size worth every penny! Oh my God that was so so good! Exclamation!!!!

As someone with no experience in Salvadorean food, this place was phenomenal! Needed food before heading back to NYC and this was the only place open in the morning. I'm so glad it was cuz it hit the spot!
