Visited Sam Diego’s for the first time on a whim. We arrived in time for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the place. I’m no expert on Mexican cuisine, so what we had was probably not “authentic” but it was very tasty and filling! My hubby and I opted for items from the $8.95 lunch menu - which indicated slightly smaller portions - but, trust me, it was plenty of food! And these days, $8.95 for lunch is a real bargain! I had the Del Rio Burrito and hubby had the Veggie Quesadilla. Upon sitting down our excellent server, Michele, greeted us warmly and brought a basket of warm and crispy tortilla chips with a side of salsa - excellent! Was looking for a nice place for dinner and decided to try this place. Definitely recommend! Fresh and delicious food! Great atmosphere. People are nice and friendly. We enjoyed the food and had a great time.

Fantastic place. The food is amazing and service is quick and friendly. The tacos were amazing and the chimichanga was wonderful. Lots of parking available - highly recommended.
