Food was good, especially liked the fish and red beans and rice. Waitress was great, wish I would have gotten her name. Weird cons, ketchup on the table was disgusting, fries were cooked perfect but the ketchup was just awful. GV ketchup would have been better.

We had a nice meal there with a local friend. Food was tasty and portions were ample. The heat was broken but there was a nice roaring fire in the fireplace! Our waitress was friendly, prompt and attentive. Atmosphere is dark and rustic.

Definitely a local spot because tons of locals eat here. When you find out where the locals eat, you know you're in for a treat. Great portion of fried catfish and the green beans were delicious. Lots of different items to choose from. We had fish left over and reheated it in the air fryer...yummy.

Sam's is the best! The only place I want catfish and shrimp from. As good as what I had in Louisiana! You don't leave hungry! They load you up. I can't even eat the sides, I fill up on entrees

Tried the new location on Phoenix. The fish was a real disappointment—tough, skinny, and nowhere near what it should be. Usually the fish was great on Grand ave..tried Phoenix location...Fish was terrible, skinny...tough.... could not eat it. also had an old grease aftertaste of the other food. waitress asked to take it back.... Fries were great. Waitress was kind.
