I’ve been a customer of Sandy’s for many years and I’m disappointed. Today I purchased 5 pounds of extra large and 5 pounds of jumbo shrimp and most of the shrimp that I received are small and medium!! 10/10/2025 The same thing above happened again today!!! It’s going from bad to worse!!

Their shrimps is affordable. You get a good bit for the price. The price was 4.99 lb for large, which is a great price. The only downside is they have a lot of small shrimps in there. I mean there is some large to medium size but a lot of small too. Overall great customer service and great price

Sandy's has been at this location for years. I've only known them to have raw shrimp, but I think they've expanded to crabs. They're ALWAYS friendly and helpful. They're very popular and will be busy during peak season, and their line at are long, but Ms Sandy's brother is always outside getting orders together before getting to the window, to help move the line along faster. They're ONLY open Thursday - Saturday and ONLY accept cash and SNAP. I go there as often as possible to get my shrimp.

This is our go to when we want fresh shrimp. Not only is the price and size very good, it's convenient fast, you don't have to get out of your car. If you see a long line, don't worry, it moves pretty fast. Like a fast food drive thru. This family has been here for years and it's nice to see the same faces that know you when you pass by from time to time, right in the middle of Baton Rouge. When they sell out they close it down, why would they stay? They're in high demand and depends on their catch so if they sell out early they shut it down so get there early or pick a day you can. Thurs Friday Saturday. It's not like a product that can be kept stocked. It's seafood. We drool everytime we pass by there.

Sandy Has the Largest and Best Shrimps In Town. Always Nice customer service and i get what i pay for. The only thing i don't like is that she does not accept debit but she accepts food stamps.,Ugh! So that means i have to go to the bank and pass her up and come back if i have no cash.
