Sankalp - The Taste of India

We went to Sankalp as a family and absolutely loved the food! Their South Indian dishes are truly trademark — crispy dosas, flavorful sambhar, and authentic taste just like back home. At the same time, their North Indian food is one of the best in town — rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked. Great chines and chhat plates with perfect taste that you are missing since years.. The service was friendly, and the restaurant is clean and family-friendly. Highly recommend Sankalp if you want real Indian taste under one roof!

The food was better than expected. They have a huge variety of options. The only Dosas around town. The traditional Dosa was yummy. Chicken 65 was really good. Chia was in on point, and garlic naan was great. Can't wait to go back and try a different Dosa

The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Dahi puri and Sizzlers were absolutely amazing. Loved Vada pav and Bhaji pav dosa. Pineapple shiro was out of this world. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We’ve been loving visiting Sankalp with my dad and trying items from their truly huge variety! Today it was Hyderabadi Dum Boneless Chicken Biryani. It was served hot and authentically complete with its tandoori roti covering (should’ve taken a pic). It looked amazing and tasted delicious- especially after being disappointed multiple times with biryanis from various places here in San Diego, this was a lovely change to eat and enjoy! We ordered monchow soup, little idlis, idlis and onion garlic chilli Rava dosa. The food was amazing I really loved the sambar and the soup was hands down the best soup I have ever had.
