Santana Mexican Grill

I always sit at the bar, you ask why right? Well there is this bartender there that always takes great care of me when I come in. Oh yeah she makes the best drinks as well. So ask for Liz she is the best so take good care of her. Great food and great prices.

Santana Mexican Restaurant in Cartersville, GA presented a disappointing experience during my visit. While traveling for work, I decided to try this local spot, hoping for a satisfying meal. Upon entering, the ambiance felt a bit dim and unwelcoming. I ordered the chicken fajitas, which were served hot and as expected, with a tempting aroma. Unfortunately, my appetite was completely ruined by the sight of a roach crawling across my table. This, coupled with the poorly cleaned tabletop that had leftover debris I had to flick off, made the cleanliness level deeply concerning. When the waitress eventually returned, I showed her a photo I had taken of the roach. However, instead of addressing the issue immediately, I had to find the manager myself as I was leaving. The manager’s response was

I'd say 4.5 stars but it won't let me give half of a star. Its been a while since my last review but, here's a spicy one for you!!! Santana Mexican Grill is a 💎 gem. Tucked right behind the pizza hut, don't miss this place. I had the carnitas for dinner and walked away happy, full-bellied and smiling. The service was on point and the food was great. The house was clean and the staff was attentive. Stop in if you are looking for the Latin cuisine experience. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy

The strawberry margarita I had needed less tequila and more flavor added to it otherwise it would’ve been perfect! :) as well as the tequila sunrise….The food was pretty good, just minus a point for serving my brother pink meat in his hamburger, but I’m glad they listened to our concerns and remade it for him :)

Very friendly staff in a clean environment. Food portions were above average and well worth the price. Salsa was very thin like tomato water. Chilaquiles lacked the steamed chips and was a pile of chicken, cheese and salsa verde. Taco salad lacked enough lettuce to be called a salad. The food was good just prepared a bit different.
