Santiago restaurant

Me and my co-workers go here when we have to go out of town to eat lunch for work. The owners are polite and the atmosphere is fun. The food is delicious! A great experience.

They took over this location and rebranded.* Updated review as this is a new restaurant for over a year now. Previously Rice& Beans. Now Santiago. Atmosphere is non existent. Unkept dining room with mismatched peeling paint and caving ceilings is what you’ll find here. Random dpt store bag and strollers stacked up on prep tables next to the flat iron in the kitchen. Staff never says thank you. I’ve been giving this place a chance for over a year now as the previous establishment at this location was my favorite restaurant an we don’t have many Hispanic offerings in this town. First off, I love Latinx cuisine. Mexican, Caribbean, Spanish. I'll take most of it on. And I was expecting to find greatness here. Well, we arrived and sat ourselves as the sign suggested. We figured we get a waitress in a few minutes. After about six minutes, wifey stood up and grabbed menus from the counter. After several more minutes, we finally got service. We didn't seem important for some reason. Then the waitress took our order, but failed to ask if we were thirsty. Yeah. So we sat for another almost ten minutes waiting for drinks. Now, the interesting thing here is that my wife likes to drink water. Nooo, not because she is cheap (although I will admit she is a little thrift-saver), but because she saves calories for food. The food is good but the prices change every time I go there. They charge more and more. I think I'll leave them alone.

Wow I think this is my new spot . The food taste like how Dominicans cook back in Bronx NYC restaurants . So delicious 👏🏾 . Today was my first time but it was enough for me to want to go back when ever I’m craving Spanish food . 10/10 for sure .
