Santini's New York Style Deli - McLean

Why steak and cheese sandwich has hot peppers in it as default and there is no spicy warning sign on the online menu? It is not friendly for firs-timer here. My kid can not eat it at all since it is way too spicy!!! Waste of money!

(January 2026) I used to go to the Reston location years ago when I lived out there (2006-2012 in Herndon). Now, my wife and I have been going to this location for the past several years. Sometimes, we’re also here with her family. Things to note: it does get loud with the local high school kids hanging out and the theme of the decor is New York professional sports teams. We’ve mostly gotten their cheese steaks and pizzas. I like their cheese steaks better while my wife and her family prefer their pizzas. The staff have always been friendly. We hope to keep coming back!

This has become our favorite slice in the area. Had my girl pick their chocolate cake for her birthday, and we have enjoyed their sandwiches too. Hard to go wrong with anything

Staff are nice, but the food was not particularly good, didn't come warm, and everything came on disposable paper plates with disposable utensils. I get that everyone's trying to save money now, but it felt a little worse having so much trash at the end of our small meal. Eggs were runny and I didn't like the coffee

Just had the new Yorker , pretty good and fresh
