Santo Tamal Restaurant

Wonderful experience at Santo Tamal! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Latin flavor. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and the portions were generous. I ordered the grilled steak with rice and beans and sweet plantains, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My daughter loved her meal too, especially the cassava sticks and rice with beans. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. It truly feels like a hidden gem. If you're looking for authentic Latin American food in the area, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend!

El Santo Tamal is truly a gem! The food was absolutely amazing full of flavor and made with so much love. The ambience is just as incredible, warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. To top it all off, the owner, Dayami, was super welcoming and made the experience even more special. You can really feel the passion and care in everything here. Definitely a must-visit spot !

Hidden gem in Hialeah! Went in for a quick bite while getting gas, and was impressed as I entered. There is a service counter with friendly staff and a savory display of local Cuban food. After ordering, there are several tables inside to sit down and enjoy my order. The dishes and utensils make it feel as if I'm eating at someone's house, and the food equally tastes like quality home cooking. I am glad I gave this place a 2nd chance. New ownership operating for less than 3 months has managed to turn this place around and turn this restaurant into a competitive establishment for great Cuban food. I look forward to returning here when I am in the area.

Went for gas and a car wash and decided to eat there because it looked clean and inviting. Great place with the most delicious food, friendly staff and priced moderately. We had a lot of food (wasn't able to post pics - sorry) and every single thing was tasty, cooked to perfection with big portions and lots of leftovers to enjoy again. We had a board with 3 different meats that came with Tostones, fried cheese, yuca, boniato, etc. Also ordered, white rice, a tamal to taste it because we had to, natural fruit juices, tres leches and a cheesecake that were mouth watering. Highly recommend all of it!

Pretty good service, the food is pretty good and the price is not bad for the portion. It's also not located in a terrible spot, all in all, so I recommend the place. Would come here again.
