Food was exquisite. Wait staff was on point. Restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. If you like Japanese cuisine or sushi, then they are worth giving a try if you haven't yet. This was my first visit and I was impressed enough to recommend them without hesitation. I will be returning.

This is the worst food ever you can make it at home. The sushi is a catfish. I ordered a shrimp, tempura, no cucumber and no avocado to be seen. They put imitation crab and fake shrimp. And the seafood taste like it is boiled and they are very miniature. I wouldn’t even give it to a homeless person this is why New Bern has the worst food even worse service they always forget about things, but they don’t forget about that tip

We picked Sanuki after going through some of the ratings and it was nearby. The food was NOT disappointing at all! The sushi was fresh and delicious. Well put together and the tuna roll was really good as well. We had the shrimp & vegetable tempura all of which were perfectly fried and lightly breaded. My wife had the chicken udon and raved about it. My order came with miso soup and a side salad and I opted for the ginger dressing. These are the average of the meal. They were both fresh with the soup hot and salad cool and crisp. The real struggle was with our server. He was clearly new and was trying, so I'm not going to beat him. He really was trying and with experience will be a fine server.
