Sara J's

The view at Sara J’s is absolutely beautiful, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively, though it did get quite loud during our visit. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my dinner. I ordered the baked flounder with the chef’s choice of stuffing, and it just wasn’t to my taste. My boyfriend ordered the same dish and ended up returning it. The coleslaw and margarita, however, were both very good and were the highlights of the meal for me. Overall, it was a mixed experience with great service and scenery, but the main course fell short for us.

We enjoyed a terrific dinner at Sara J’s. If you are looking for a nice, quiet dining experience, this place is not for you. It was loud and crowded but fun. Everyone was in good spirits. It seemed like this is a place that welcomes locals and visitors alike. Service was top notch, food was delicious (best cole slaw I have eaten in a long time), atmosphere is loud and friendly. Great view. We would definitely come back next visit to MB.

Service was great but the food was just okay. Only thing hot was the hush puppies, but they didn’t have any flavor. The fish, oysters, shrimp, and fries were all served at room temperature and could use more seasoning.

We brought our big family in tonight. We had a party of 11. I do realize it’s not busy season yet, but we were so happy to be able to be immediately sat. Sarah Kate was our server and she was fantastic. She stayed on top of everything and we didn’t have to ask for much at all. The manager on duty was also wonderful. Our family appreciates the good time, good food, and good service. We will be back again next time we are in town!

Walked down for dinner during our vacation in Garden City. Gianna was our waitress and she was amazing! She helped with recommendations and was very friendly and did her job very well. Food was good, arrived promptly and portions were plenty. We got to sit on the back deck along the water and watched the fishermen catch shrimp.
