Amazing flavorful food! My favorite is the mango curry but you need to get there early before it sells out!
The owner was very welcoming. Esthetics on the wall were fun to read while waiting on your food. Everything was filled with lots of flavor!
Sarrah is a gem, and her food is off the chain. The doubles are the real deal - and if you don’t know what doubles are, prepare to be surprised by one of the most delicious yet unassuming dishes ever. Not everyone knows how to make them right, but as they say in Trinidad, she’s got sweet hands, boy... and even if you go for the goat, chicken, or bussup shot (ripped-up roti), the food slaps.
I will tell you, I haven’t had good Trini food since I left Brooklyn. I accidentally stumbled upon this lil gem right here. I sat outside for a second and the way I saw ppl pulling up.. I said to myself, that’s the spot right there. Oh man I was so right!! Vibes good, food even better!! 10/10 highly recommend!
My first time here and they were so sweet, very friendly and clean. Food was absolutely delicious. The pepper hit right in the chicken curry and it had taste. Dhal puri and pumpkin was also great
