Lance's Review for Sawd’s VI-Missy’s II Had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Sawd’s VI-Missy’s II in Grass Lake, MI! The extensive menu of hometown comfort food was a hit. I enjoyed the 3-piece perch dinner, which came with two sides for a great price. The perch was huge, perfectly cooked, and delicious, paired with a solid baked potato and a fresh salad bar. My wife loved her juicy burger and fries, while my mother-in-law raved about her massive, flavorful Reuben. My father-in-law’s cod was also a winner. Our server, Katie, was super pleasant and accommodating, even recommending the Yuengling Black & Tan beer, which was a perfect choice. Food is good, salad bar is clean and fresh. Prices are reasonable. Portions are large. This was our first time there, but everyone else that came in while we were there was greeted by name and the owner/waitress knew most of their drink orders and some of their food orders. We will be going back to try more of their good food. We might even be known by name in the future, just like "Cheers".

Surprised a place that looks like an old broken building on the outside is so nice inside. Missy is very nice as both owner and server. I liked the cowboy breakfast Service is now better with extra help. Food is now in the 5 category. Plates seem even fuller then before so the price is not bad for the amount you get.

I ordered the grilled ham & cheese special and my son had the Cowboy burger! The burger was monsterous! The food and service were absolutely AMAZING! I think our "server" may have been the owner and if not she deserves a raise! 😂 HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! It was also very clean. My only slight annoyance was a wobbly table but it surely won't deter our return!

Our service was extremely good, even when our food took an hour and a half to come out she was apologetic and kept checking back on us. The portion sizes are great and price is reasonable. The walleye was a tad too fishy for my liking but everything else was excellent! I will be back.
