Schafer's Coastal Bar & Grille

The first time we went here was a terrible experience. I was not going back… We went another time and it was better! The food was great and the waiter was awesome! I went another time and had an equally good experience. Last night was again great! I’m glad I gave this restaurant another chance because I typically don’t. I can’t say how the seafood is but the chicken was on point!

Great food. The calamari needed some extra salt and pepper. But over all the food was really good. We were a large party and ordered several different items. The atmosphere was very coastal. The waterside dining, boats coming and going right at the dock made for a great night out. I didn't get food pics this time. Next time I'll take some food pics, because I will be back.

Enjoyed a tasty "keto" redfish with roasted corn and the freshest, tastiest green beans I've ever had. Spouse had the meatloaf and enjoyed it as well. Looking forward to eating outside once it gets a little warmer and trying more items.

1st time visit. We sat on the air conditioned deck. The silverware and glasses were excellent. Now for the food. I orderedthr broiled mahi-mahi and French fries. It was seasoned and broiled perfectly. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp with onion rings. They were outstanding. I can totally recommend the food. Service was excellent, no waiting and they we're attentive.

It's a little hard to find at night if you're from out of town; the parking lot is very small and now well marked. Seemed like a busy, popular local spot. The food was good but very overpriced. The servers were good, but the hostesses could be more professional.
