Scittino's Italian Market Place

Super cute little store and take out. The New York pies are so good. The crust and sauce have great flavor. The Italian Cold Cut is one of the best in the area! The bread is perfect and the portion size of meat to veggie ratio is on point. The cutlet sandwich was disappointing because the bread was soggy by the time we got home, but I’ll ask for the artisan bread next time. Also, parking is a little difficult during their busy times. I would highly recommend, and will definitely be back!

1st time. It is truly a market with a mostly carry out restaurant. Lots of choices. I got a pizza with sausage and double mushroom. I get double because mushrooms are treated like gold at most places. I've had pizza with 3 mushrooms per slice (and that was double). This is the first time when I can honestly say there were TOO many mushrooms! A single order would have been more than enough. Unfortunately they're canned and not great. The crust edges were good tasty but the center bottom was sloppy wet.

Preordered a 12 sandwich platter and received 12 mini croissants with ham, turkey, shrimp and tuna. Croissants were like 3”, No toppings, nothing. All of this for $80. Scittinos should be ashamed of themselves for charging $80 for a platter that should cost $25-$30. DO NOT BUY THE SMALL SANDWICH PLATTER. They lost a lot customers after this experience and the platter was the joke of the party.

I’ve been feeling homesick for NJ and was hoping this place would do the trick. The Italian cold sub and hot meatball sub are great quality. The Italian cookies reminded me of christmases with my step mom. And easily the BEST pizza I’ve had in MD!

Ver salty, and very oily. I don’t know how it has 5 stars. Could not even finish one slice. Big flop, sauce, is very salty. The whole box is soaked with oil. Very disappointing.
