Scoops & Beyond

I took my two grandchildren here for an ice cream treat. Prices are not listed . I purchased a one scoop chocolate ice cream in a waffle come dipped in chocolate and nuts and two scoops of cotton candy ice cream in a cup. It was $ 19.85. Please note they force you to buy two scoops in a cup which was too much ice cream for a four year old. Not only was the ice cream expensive but it was served up with a surely attitude from the server. When I went back to get a lid for the unfinished cup of ice cream the stand was left unattended for over 5 minutes.

No prices on the menu, I got a strawberry smoothie that ended up being $12…I guess that’s on me for not asking but then it ended up being the worst smoothie i’ve ever had, tasted like blended ice that had maybe one strawberry slice in it. What a scam!

We were at the Wellington Mall, and wanted a smoothie. Scoops & Beyond is super cute on the outside. The 2 girls at the front were busy but took my order with minimal conversations. They had 4 different smoothies. I ordered the strawberry smoothie and was pretty disappointed. I took 2 gulps and threw the rest out. As sad as it is, I wasted $10 on a large (only one size) cup of milk that had a pink look to it. All milk, no flavor, and definitely no strawberries.

Awesome ice cream place in the mall. They have your traditional ice cream flavors along with much more. This includes ice cream sandwiches, affogato, floats, slushies, acai bowls and smoothies. Note that they are a bit $$ but it's worth checking out if you want a great treat at the mall.

The two girls working there were rude and unprofessional. They were speaking in Spanish about my niece and nephew, rolling their eyes and making comments because the kids were taking a moment to decide. They clearly assumed we didn’t understand Spanish, which made the situation even more disappointing. The ice cream itself was good, but definitely overpriced for the kind of service we received. If you’re going to charge premium prices, your staff should reflect that with excellent customer service and respect for all customers.
