Scotchies Jerk Center

Impressed by the indoor fire pit. I ordered the jerk salmon and peas and rice. I usually have left overs the next day. I’ve been eating on this tray all night! It’s that good! No left overs. I’m so excited to find a place with good food. Ever since I gave up mast (one year today), my options have been extremely limited. 10/10 recommended!

I went to scotchies after a long day of work hoping yo get some good eats. Instead i was left disappointed. I order what they had in the service line (simple rice with oxtail gravy just a little bit of cabbage.) I live about 30 mins away from the restuarant and always wanted to try whenever im in the area but didnt get a chance until now. Rice was okay and cooked well, the disappointment comes from the baby scoop of oxtail gravy i got with the ratio of rice. To come home and not see at least 2 in a half big silver spoon scoops to cover my rice was utter disrespect. But he made sure to cover the gravy with the cabbage so i couldnt see how much he put. I got one little splash on my dry rice and peas. Dry i mean even tho it has good texture and not too bad flavor, the sauce was needed to make

Flavor: I ordered a small Jerk chicken with rice and mac & cheese. The food was delicious, and the meat was moist. I recommend the spicy Jerk sauce to put on top. (I found the oxtail gravy on my rice a bit too salty). Rice and beans was a favorite. Mac was ok. Establishment: Leaves little to be desired, wouldn't recommend as eat in, just take out. I was turned off initially that majority of the food is left open to the air and un supervised when the store isn't busy. Plus, the front door was wide open. Overall food was flavorful and priced well. I will be back to try other items.

Hands down best jerk pork I've ever had very succulent and soft great charcoal taste not to overpowering jerk chicken was fire too rice n Pea was flavorful the guy serving us the food was really nice all around great Jamaican food

Amazing. Every time I get food from here, same great results. Fantastic 👏. Make sure you get the spicy Jerk sauce in a to go container, as well as on your Jerk Chicken. Great 👍
