SCRATCHBOARD KITCHEN

Really good food really good flavors. Really nice atmosphere very friendly staff. A little cramped but some would just call that cozy. And the portion sizes are probably a touch smaller than you think they're going to be. Other than that though five stars all around.

This is one of if not my favorite spots in downtown AH. The atmosphere is adorable, and the menu and drinks are so incredibly interesting, creative, delicious, seasonal, and home made. Our server Lisa was attentive, personable, gave fantastic recommendations and made a gorgeous warming herbal tea blend. I didn't get a photo of all the food because we devoured it all, but we had hot chocolate, tea, seasonal pop tart, paoched eggs with Turkish meatballs, and smoked brisket hash with caramelized onions and cabbage. Incredible!!!!

We had chicken sandwich, Cobb salad and kids eggs with sausage. Everything tasted great! Menu simple, not too much to choose from, for us was good for brunch/lunch choices. Grace was very attentive to us and kids and recommended good choices. Overall great experience. Would be back for sure. Thanks Grace! ❤️

Took my grandma here for a girl's day out. I had my service dog with me and had absolutely no issues; they even put us at a larger table so she had enough space. Our server was Francisco; he and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating for us! The service was super quick even though it was lunch hour and they were fairly busy. I love that the food was fresh and local, and they told us the menu is constantly changing which makes me want to go back. We both ordered salads which were delicious. Fair warning for the Caesar salad though - the croutons are massive. Almost too big to comfortably eat. But since everything else was tasty, no points docked for that. Strawberry matcha latte was very good. Didn't taste grassy like some matcha lattes have a tendency to do. Parking was tough

The food was so good! I ordered the hash and while the dip didn't go with it, once I got it home and was able to add some hot sauce it was perfection. My friend got a biscuit sandwich and potatoes which she loved. The portion sizes were that perfect amount of not too small, not too big.
