Sea & Sand Inn

Absolutely beautiful location! Outstanding view and rooms were so comfortable and clean. Easy parking and easy walk or drive to everything — although uphill on your way back. Would absolutely stay again without hesitation. Lovely staff. Friendly and professional! Happy hour and snacks were great as well as nice breakfast and afternoon cookies! Great outdoor space too! Look no further for an excellent place to stay in Santa Cruz!

I had a wonderful stay at the Sea and Sand Inn. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious, very clean, and had incredible views of the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to that view was refreshing and relaxing. The outdoor seating areas with fire pits were a highlight, offering spectacular views of the beach and boardwalk. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise with cheese omelette, bacon, country potatoes, and the best blueberry scones I have ever had. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, amazing views, and warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again.

We spent our short weekend getaway in Santa Cruz and chose to stay at Sea and Sun Inn. We chose S&S for it proximity to the beach and boardwalk. And we chose well. Every place is walkable, even with two year old. They have a few really nice outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sunrise while enjoying breakfast or the sunsets while sipping on your wine. The staff is friendly and rooms were clean. Will we stay here again? You bet we will.

We spent two nights at the Sea & Sand. Location was great, walking distance to the wharf, lots of restaurants and bars. Beautiful views!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was generous and good quality. Wine social in the evening was a ton of fun and great time to meet other travelers. Wonderful stay!!

Ocean front views with breakfast, cookies and lemonade, and wine and cheese included. We love this hotel and will always come back. It’s our favorite in Santa Cruz. This last time we came, there was a complication with our room and Jessica at the front desk had great communication with us and was able to resolve the problem. Thank you for the great service! We are never disappointed when we come here.
