Seafood Soul & Tingz

So I’ve ordered a few times for delivery and this time was by far not a good time. The catfish was undercooked and soggy. The grits came cold and lumpy in which I had to reheat myself. I can say I usually have a good experience when ordering. I always request condiments in the bag but for some reason they’re never in the bag so if you order for delivery make sure to have your own condiments on hand.

The food here use to be freaking amazing(back when the owner was cooking) ever since then the food has gone to pure crap. I just ordered Rasta pasta and it has a ridiculous amount of black pepper!! Every spoon has a fist full of black pepper!! Either fire that chef or train him better because this ain’t it. This was truly my last time ordering from this establishment for good!!!

Odered off of ubereats. Got bbq wings, fried catfish with mac n cheese and greens. The fish was good, not overly seasoned but not plain either, and not too crispy like id like but not soggy. The wings were simple bbq wings, bbc sauce was light flavor, wings were not crispy, barely seasoned, but it was okay. The mac again was okay, not wowed but still worth the money. And im very picky about my mac. The greens were also just okay. Overall 7/10. Would order again. Everything had flavor but not much. Just right id say, I guess to be safe and considerate for all customers

This was my third time visiting Seafood Soul & Tingz, and honestly, the vibe has been the same every time. Nobody greets you when you walk in, not the workers or the owner. The energy just isn’t welcoming at all. You only get spoken to when it’s time to order, there’s never a “Hey, welcome in!” or anything friendly to make you feel comfortable. I usually order the same meal, but this time I tried something different, and it could’ve used a little more seasoning, especially for the price. As a Afro-Latina woman living in a mostly Latin neighborhood, I really love that there’s a Black-owned soul food spot close by. But you’d expect the energy and hospitality to be a lot warmer and more uplifting. Instead, the staff always looks tired or like they don’t want to be there. That’s not a good

I ordered my food from Uber Eats. It came quickly, hot, fresh, and seasoned beyond my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised with how everything came because I’m usually underwhelmed with food deliveries, this restaurant, however, was on point. I will be ordering again. I got the 4 pc fish, 6 shrimp, mac and cheese, and collards.
