Seasons Buffet @ The Lodge Casino (Must be 21+)

It was overall a good experience! My only advice is to get there early as a line can form. I arrived around 5pm and had an hour and a half wait. The crabs were good but just not my taste as they were warm. However their BBQ ribs and Mac and cheese was the bomb. Very nice people and good ambience. I would recommend for people to check out their charcuterie section as the cheese and ham were good.

The Seasons Buffet is always splendid, I tend to hit it on the weekends, their brunch is served and is always wonderful, down to earth options and always something different. The service is great and playing a few machines on the way up for the most part is rewarding.

2024 Brought some co-workers for lunch and still my choice for a reasonable buffet with good, variety. Weekday,around 11 so, able to get table. As mentioned, for the price, a very good deal. 2023: Weekend day trip and price was about $27 (?) . Not crowded even at noon and for the price, I still think it was very reasonable. My favorites were the: Fish (Cod) Ribs Sausage Sweet Sour dish w/veggies Went for 2nd round that I didn't even have room for the tempting desserts. Service was 👍. Staff basically left you alone to enjoy your meal but was readily available if you wanted something. Considering the very reasonable price for the choices, I still believe they deserve a 5-star rating. The all you can eat crab legs are great for the price. However, it seems as though all the other dishes are neglected, as they know the crab legs are more than likely the main focus of patrons. Sub par for the price. Desserts were rather delectable.

We have been visiting Blackhawk 2-3 times a week for years and the Lodge used to be one of our favorite spots. The food used to be good and affordable, the staff USED to be friendly. Not anymore! Food is mediocre, and way overpriced! $207 for 3 people to eat a small buffet is unbelievable! The last 3 times we came, the host and manager went out of their way to be snarky and rude! The way I look at it: we spent A LOT of money at the Lodge, and now we will not be going back! Its absolutely horrible now! Sad but true!
