Customer Reviews
Secret Savory is a Thai restaurant on Market in Ballard. Parking around here can be tough so be prepared to walk a bit. Inside they have about a dozen tables or so. Their menu is pretty big, with prices being pretty decent for the portion sizes you get. The service is ok, it took about 20 minutes for someone to even take our drink order. The food though is great, probably top 3 Thai places in Seattle. Their curries are delicious and even their drinks are awesome, and very well priced. Overall a solid spot for dinner or even a date night.
Enjoyed meal, for the most part. Loved the noodle dish, loved the chicken wings. My curried seafood dish was tasty except that my seafood coulda/should been less over cooked therefore it was more chewy than expected. Nice clean establishment with friendly service.
The vibe of this spot tucked in behind some shops was nice. Cocktails were tasty if maybe a little light. Chinese Broccoli = 💣 Chicken Pad Thai = 🤷♂️ Although it’s kinda my fault for getting the most generic dish, it didn’t have much flavor. I’d definitely eat here again, but it’s nothing to write home about.
Our meal here was great! The crispy savory chicken was so tender, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The green beans were amazing as well as the Thai garlic chicken. They were very accommodating to my cousin who has to eat gluten free. The drinks are good too! If you’re in Ballard and want to eat some yummy Thai food, come here!
Tom yum was delicious. Fried crab wasn’t great because it mostly just tasted like fried dough, and there wasn’t much crab meat inside if any at all.
